In the "Spider-Man's Drone Duel" set, Spider-Man is dueling with none other than the Vulture, suggesting that perhaps Michael Keaton's incarnation of the character could return.
Similarly, the box for the " Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop" set notes it as being "inspired by Marvel Studios' 'Spider-Man: Far From Home.'" However, the product descriptions for all three sets clearly state that they're being released in conjunction with the launch of "No Way Home," and in large lettering on each box is the title "Spider-Man: No Way Home." Each set is rather revealing, and has its own intriguing details.
The problem is, the remodelled Death Star set that came out in 2016 had 4,016 pieces.On the box of one of the sets, " Spider-Man's Drone Duel," it lists the products as being "inspired by Marvel Studios' 'Spider-Man: Homecoming,'" the first movie in the Tom Holland-led trilogy. As Ned and Peter got pumped over the mammoth size of the build, Ned said the set had a whopping 3,449 pieces. The Death Star is even more of a deep cut for geek fandom when you remember some called it out as a plot hole in Homecoming. Given that the remnants of the Death Star are featured in The Rise of Skywalker, can we expect to see the LEGO version return in a mythical Spider-Man 6? Better yet, No Way Home's Death Star is even unfinished before it was destroyed – just like it was in Return of the Jedi. The lack of the LEGO Death Star in Spider-Man: Far From Home also mirrors the fact the intergalactic superweapon is MIA in The Empire Strikes Back.
The second Death Star appeared two movies later in 1983's Return of the Jedi and while supposedly much larger and technologically advanced, faced a similar fate to its predecessor. You might remember 1978's Star Wars: A New Hope featured Luke's X-Wing assault where the first Death Star was obliterated. In case you didn't spot it, the destruction of two Death Stars is actually a nod to the OG trilogy. Jump forward to No Way Home and the Death Star has been rebuilt (Death Star 2.0 if you will) – only to be shattered once more when Dum-E knocked it off the table.
